Looks like it will be happening, good luck Poya! Hope he can get a tune out of the players fast. I welcome his appointment.
All I can say is **** I said him to start with. Can't be arsed trawling back through threads but I did. Gutted I dint have money on him.
Well I'm happy to give him a chance. To my mind his cv is a lot more impressive than Schopp's ever was.
So it looks like the CEOs bringing his buddy over from Sweden to be the new head coach. His average time in post is just over 1 year so he fits the plan to a tea. Win percentage of 30% so if he keeps that up it'll be L1 next season. Unsurprised with the level of appointment because he fits the bill for a board only interested in bringing players on to sell for a profit and who have no interest in league position he's an U23 coach for an U23 club.
Here ya go Stephen. You spelt it right, so didn't need much finding. http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/ok...rnatives-to-schopp.309213/page-7#post-2841864
If he can get a win rate of 33% and a draw rate of 33%, that would get us to 50 points. I was feeling we needed a firefighter style appointment given all the issues at the club with fitness etc… but if he’s the one appointed will have to reserve judgement and give him a chance. He can’t be any worse than Schopp and at least has experience of working with a young squad.
