    To say the club, or the sport is institutionally racist isn't accusing everybody in the club or sport of being racist individuals.

    But Rafiq has found racism at every level of the club. This plus any structural barriers that individuals encounter based on ethnicity amount to institutional racism.

    One or two may be racist, the rest turned a blind eye and it's that that make for institutional racism.

    I thought Roger Hutton and the four ECB bodies came across pathetically but it doesn’t surprise me one bit. The ECB have tried to sweep this under the carpet too. I have zero faith in them to sort the game out good and proper.

    I did ask earlier in the thread after watching his performance and it was a genuine question.....does anyone know if Hutton is paid in his role as Chairman, or is it one of those non exec things and is he full time or is it like those MP extra curricular jobs where they work an hour a month or something. He certainly came across like that.

    Funny how he’s apologetic now he’s been rumbled. Absolutely pathetic David, I used to have a lot of respect for him but no longer.

    The one person who came out of today well is Matthew Hoggard.

    Institutional racism doesn’t mean everyone is racist. I’d expect you to know that, or at least check the meaning if you didn’t.

    But it is the same they are just shortened versions of the real name. Sorry but you cannot argue that. No one in their right minds want racism but everything cuts 2 ways and people have to learn to live together and understand slang or shortened words it's like reds fans and wendy fans we call each other all sorts of nasty names but we take it and get on

    See, this is the issue innit? You hold a view which is fundamentally wrong. People have tried to educate you on why it’s wrong, but you just won’t have it.
