If other fans rang in, and made coherent points, then the balance would be different. It's not the fault of the BBC that they have 80% Wednesday fans on the programme. I suspect you also get more calls when things aren't going well as there is more to say.... hence the number of calls for that club.
Yeah we have Barnsley fans complaining about the lack of Barnsley fans on Football Heaven but not ringing in themselves to do something about it.
wouldn't want guillotining by the Owls fans, can't imagine they are very hygenic, might catch summatt!
Best thing anyone can do regarding football heaven is just stop listening. If you want to know Wednesday and Blades fans opinions on owt, just go on their forums.
Whilst I haven't listened in a while, I do enjoy football heaven. The opinions and interviews that are aired are certainly split evenly between the teams. The bias comes from the number of callers who call in. Naturally there's more Wednesday and United fans who call in, but it's a completely open forum.
I do the same with Martin the so called Barnsley fan, what a total embarrassment , rants on about us & then asks which wavelength are they covering us on , he never goes but has an opinion on every player, how we played etc etc & also baits fans from other local clubs , total pr--k
Just leave it 100% for the massives to talk about all their full efforts are on the league after their fa cup exit to the mighty Argyle
I enjoy it , it passes a good hour on and there’s some good callers on from all teams . There’s a lot of monotonous calls mind , saying the same thing call after call but there’s plenty of interesting bits on it . They’d plenty of evidence of callers from the Sheffield at timesr getting more air time than they afford the so called smaller clubs but I can put up with that .
