I can understand Kiefer Moore not being best pleased when Mick turned up but this article seems like a disgruntled player who wasn’t picked every match getting his own back and sucking up to the new boss

I love Mick but i think he may be a bit of a managerial dinosaur these days and his style of play is pretty predictable' time to call it a day and put his feet up i reckon..

At a previous club one of the players said " you know where you are with him, he doesn't sugar coat anything, he tells it like it is then it's done with". Nowt wrong wi that.

Think Macca has had his time now. He's had a great career both playing and managing.
Time for a well earned rest.....

Completely agree. The game has changed so much, even over the last 5 years. The likes of McCarthy, Warnock, Holloway etc are the last survivors of a dying breed of managers. Some would say that's a sad thing but the game is evolving and you've to keep up with the times.

I'll add to that, you've got to admire Tony Mowbray, who seems to have adapted over recent years and seems to be be doing a good job at Blackburn.

Don't know why he was hated by the Ipswich fans apart from not seeing kieffers ability and favouring 2nd rate forwards. He did a good job there had them comftable mid table and one season just outside the play offs but for the massive Ipswich Town. I thought he did a decent job at Ipswich.
I wouldnt want him here though 1, I think his best managerial days are gone and 2, a club legend.

I agree in that I think it’s time for him to take a rest.

However when he left Ipswich, the fans soon realised he’d held them together for 2 seasons on his own. They slipped down pretty quickly then. Only just finding some recent improvements.

    Apologies, my response wasn't appropriate.

Having read it I thought it came across as gossip, disrespectful to someone I have a lot of time for, but I shouldn't have responded to you as I did.

No offence taken probably should have titled it differently
