Can't imagine there is the time and resources to fanny about testing millions of people's antibodies when there is a solution which is harmless and effective.

Not all outlets offering the flu jab have the facilities for the extra cold storage of the Pfizer jab if that's the one you need for your booster.

My mum and dad had Pfizer jabs one and two at Montgomery Hall, Wath. The venue was only doing flu jabs when their booster was due in September and I had to take them to Rotherham.

Yes. Based on the fact I’ve heard many people refer to it incorrectly as an island before. Even some of the pundits in the run up to Whyte vs. Povetkin

By that logic we should ignore all comment by poster who spell players 9r coach's names wrong?

Strange that you're suddenly advocating for less condescension when you've tore into Dreamboy and belittled him on this very thread. But to each their own. I think you should show a bit more respect.

Gally's post came after mine. I saw an example of how it should be done, praised him and said we can all (therefore including me) try and learn from it.

So at 10.32 you were condescending towards dreamboy and 27 minutes later, after Gally's post, you've learnt your lesson? Fair enough. It's just that we're all adults on here, and it comes across as teacher ticking off pupil. I think Dreamboy's opinion is valid, like anyone else's, and he doesn't deserve to be ridiculed for offering an alternative.

I didn't say I'd 'learnt my lesson', I said it was a great post we can all try and learn from. Which it was and we can.

In that case my point still stands. Maybe be a bit more respectful towards dreamboy in future.

Well I agree with your point about being respectful Dreamboy does post a lot of nonsense and quotes ridiculous sources on Twitter.
Even when he post something I actually agree with I choose not to comment directly as he will then jump to another extreme and wild viewpoint often doing sudden 180s. After a while it can become rather draining and often undermines people have a good debate about something.

Exactly this. Anything he’s found himself on Twitter is gospel even if it contradicts some other ******** that he’s posted minutes earlier and anything that anybody says to point out the ridiculousness of what he posts is always nonsense.

He definitely needs to be less trigger happy on what he shares so understand the sentiment given in these last few posts. Sometimes people pile on to ridicule the source, but if the comment is an actual video or a genuine and official stat, it doesn’t matter what the source is does it?

    People should remember that too.

My post said the exact same thing, yet you 'liked' RedArmy87's post to me and the inclusion of 'in these last few posts' purposefully excludes mine. I didn't call dreamboy a name or say anything underhand, I just posted that he appears to be swayed easily and the majority of his sources (not all) are crap. Which is exactly what the last few posts said. Fair enough if people think me pointing that out isn't respectful, it probably isn't, but then neither are the last few posts, which arguably go further than mine.

I think you’ve leapt somewhere miles away from my post.

I was basically meaning that as much as DB’s sources are sometimes questionable, the source at times can be irrelevant if the content is accurate - such as videos, quotes, etc. I think it’s important we remember that when calling him out so that it’s always valid and fair.

Oh, definitely. I, too, dislike when people rubbish something because of the source when the content is actually a direct quote or something. Unless the source spins so much of their own opinion around it that it makes out the quote to be something different than it actually was, of course.

    100%.

The biggest right wing/left wing nut job could post something. But if the content is real then it’s as valid as anyone else. Even if it’s spun with a comment that you don’t agree with, the credibility doesn’t matter as that’s just an opinion.

I don’t think its misleading at all. If i read it correctly (and i havent done stats since 1st year of univeristy) then it has a big effect on hospitalisations in the uk. A 93% reduction compared to double vaccinated. When looking at the adult population that makes quite a difference even and small percentages
