The owners and board of the club have already basically admitted they've chalked **** on it by saying they'd prefer a young project manager than someone experienced who would keep us up
me neither, but looking at what we have to overcome Can’t defend properly Little if any creativity in midfield Struggle to gets shot on target No real leader on the pitch It’s going to be tough!
Until these idiots are in charge then we will remain tin pot with absolutely zero ambition. So what is the actual point? Might as well support Leeds
Did well Derby. They got their first goal though from a corner that should never have happened. Their first corner of the game deflected back off the Derby player when the cross was blocked and it was missed. In the same passage of play with Bournemouth never getting out of their defensive area Derby got a second corner and scored.
I don’t think there’s enough time to implement a newish system with a change in formation which is what is needed to turn this around. Please bump this is May but I’m off to put a tenner on our relegation because it just ain’t happening.
Not giving up on this season at all. There’s enough in the squad to get the points needed, but it’s all dependant on whether we’ve hired the right guy. To chalk **** on the season is to write off the new manager, and there’s enough positivity out there on his abilities to at least give us some hope for now.
I'd agree with you that it's not over just yet but there's just one or two flies in the ointment, to be precise Conway, Lee and Co so I can't fully agree. Say the new coach as a wonderful effect and Anderson and Helik and co look like rocks in defence Styles and Brittain look good again and the strikers are scoring for fun. We all know what will happen come January bids will come in and because the danger of relegation will still be present the board will use the excuse that they need to cover the revenue loss of potential relegation and bids will be accepted and then we start again.
I think we’ll definitely move at least one player on in January. It’s just what we need to do to stay in the red. I’m hopeful though it’s at most just one regularly first teamer and then bit part players. I don’t believe selling a player or two is an ownership issue, that’s just how we do business now we don’t have the Cryne loans coming in regularly.
You'd have to be stark raving mad to sell a key player in January for a couple of million, if it risked relegation and £6m a few months later. Not saying it won't happen, mind.
