Cauley Woodrow = Lazy selfish so & so!

Take the positive, with performances like this the club won’t be cashing in on Cauley or any other players in the next window.

The bad news is they are here for the long term on much longer contracts.

 

There's another thread about palmer, woodrow again offered nothing and had another glaring miss. Its a football forum people can debate his performance. The title is OTT imo.

 

Give it a ******* rest. You can't keep singling out the same player every single ******* game. There's only Collins who hasn't been a disappointment this season.

Yeah. It's utterly disgraceful that it's come to this after last season (and bad business too, if you're reading Paul), but the individual players aren't what's gone wrong here. If your whole business plan is bringing in kids then their welfare should be front and centre in how you run the club. Leaving them rudderless for a whole summer - because it seems like that's what's happened - is unforgivable.

A possibly controversial opinion is that I think Val is also to blame. I'm not sure what he could have done differently, but this summer might have ruined some of these players' careers, and he must have known what would happen (more than anybody else) when he happily stripped out the whole core of the staff.

It was still Conway's job to fix it though.

Don’t take the moral high ground. It’s embarrassing. I bet you can’t wait to take aim at other players, in particular Benson. Because Woodrow has performed for us in the past seems to make him exempt from criticism in your eyes. The fact is he has been ******* terrible for years now.

I don't agree with the personal abuse but he is woefully out of form. I just don't see him as Captain material either.

Look at the video on poya's first day in charge of the team, his body language is absolutely awful along with many others in that dressing room.

 

Also, you talk about scapegoating someone who doesn’t give a ****, you can wait to single out the young lad Benson, who has been no worse than anyone this season.

This season and the majority of the last he has been absolutely diabolical. That’s not even up for debate. Yet you can’t wait to criticise the young lad Benson.

 

the entire team week in week out have been appalling. The only player with any credit is Collins. Helik for example on his own way has been just as poor as Woodrow. I would happily criticise the collective. I would criticise players who don’t try. Other than that it’s a team game and we aren’t good enough as a team.

So given he scored 15 goals last season what’s your benchmark for a good Barnsley forward 30?

Benson I have sympathy for. He should be playing with someone who can help him and teach him the aspects of the game he is weakest at. Unfortunately we only have players as inexperienced as him. It would be the best move to get him a good loan in L1 where playing with someone with experience his talent would come out. At the minute he had the ability to turn a game the way that Mowatt could but without be able to compete and work he won’t be able to.

 

Think I’ve mentioned him twice all season not like you lot wanking off after every game.

Ironically Woodrow is the worst player we have for throwing his arms in the air to scapegoat others.
Let's not deny that we need a change of dynamics up front until Cauley can recapture some effectiveness.

 

Put more effort in than Benson.

 

Nobody is wanking anything off. We all want the best for this football club.
