Not been on here since the start of the season. What has happened - play offs to relegation zone, what has gone wrong?
The manager, CEO, captain and entire background team left in the summer, leaving no-one in charge for weeks. More of the background team have left since. We appointed a really **** manager, had a bad start and got worse. Now the team has no confidence whatsoever. Some bad stuff is going on behind the scenes to add to the uncertainty. Other than that, we're tickedy-boo.
@Loko the Tyke have you got the script to hand for @Pelly to have a gander? (@Pelly, it reads like a Hollywood movie but it's all true, plus we have our very own slice of American realism to boot - have you ever heard of Paul Conway? He could be up for an Oscar you know, quite the actor).
The lack of a pedestrian bridge over the town centre railway line is weighing heavily upon the town. After two and a half seasons of this soul-crushing situation, the heads of the local populace no longer look up to the sun, but hang in weary, sullen silence. This black dog state has permeated the fabric of Oakwell and the whole matchday atmosphere to such an extent that even long-term supporters are struggling to keep their spirits up. The football's a bit **** too.
What he said. We could write a dissertation on the endemic failings of the Club both on and off the pitch, over the last 6 months. I don't personally recall a more dramatic decline in my 30 odd years. I'm not gonna include administration in that, as I would argue that was largely forced by the ITV digital collapse, which no one saw coming,
Well he is the only ever present this season. He is okay. Trouble is he takes all our dead ball kicks and seems to have got worse at them. 7/10
Oh dear, that is particularly grim - sounds like Luton although the footie is a bit better - if only we had not got a complete squad who are great on most of the optima stats except for assists - zero guile, got rid of our imaginative players
