    Great question!

For me, I love playing PDA by Interpol, really satisfying to play.

Early Biffy Clyro got me wanting to play guitar. So I'd go for something like Stress on the Sky, Bodies in Flight or Glitter & Trauma

    My faves include;

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
The Doors - Riders on the Storm
    Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic
    The Kinks - Lola
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Unfortunately my singing voice is awful so I always end up spoiling it :(:(

I wanna be your dog and Teenage Kicks. Gold from basically nothing. Sounds so good with almost no input.

Very mainstream but Many of Horror is a very satisfying song to play.

Non-biffy songs, I'd go for Nightrain by GNR

I always enjoyed playing along to these, although I use the term "playing" pretty loosely :)

    Electric:
    Rush - Xanadu
    Queen - Now I'm Here
Led Zeppelin - Rock And Roll
    Big Country - Inwards

    Acoustic:
Neil Young - Heart Of Gold
Simon & Garfunkel - Scarborough Fair
Pretty much anything from Bowie's early years, but especially Soul Love, Space Oddity, and Starman.

Speaking of tuning, I tried messing around with Ostrich tuning where you tune every string to the same note so you get this bizarre droning tone, I can't get it to sound good but this is a great example of it (sounds fu cking immense at the end).

I think Lou Reed used it quite a bit too.

I'm just running through some christmas songs to play at our gig on December 11th, namely, Slade, Wizard and Springsteen's version of santa claus is coming to town. Simple, but we hope the crowd will enjoy them (they should have had a few by then)

A riff Johnny Marr wrote faster than he could play it. Great fun to play.
