    No messing by Boris. First he banned countries before even the EU and North America did and now we've at least 3 weeks of mandatory mask wearing. It's worrying that we could end up back at square one with March 2020 restrictions.

    Every time I book a holiday it all kicks off, supposed to be going to krakow on Thursday, paid for LFT tests which came yesterday, now we have to take PCR tests? Another £100, no doubt they’ll make isolations mandatory for anyone entering the country by Thursday. I lost money on a holiday on sept 2020 because it all kicked off again then, and also in October as Holland brought in requirement for everyone to isolate on entry for 5 days.
    I’m just fkd off that every time I wait until things have been settled for a while, book a holiday and it all goes to sht. I’m actually feeling quite depressed by it all.

    Pandering to the neurotics or buying time until there’s some data, probably both. Masks are a feeble measure akin to pissing on a factory fire.
    Get my 3rd booster on Tuesday, do my bit, but I’m not yet in favour of any mandatory measures unless it is shown to be more deadly in some way than other variants which is unlikely in a vaccinated population.
