Given the last two performances and the lack of any new manager bounce. I'm not sure they've picked the right replacement either.
We're dead. I don't know what our worst season at this level is, but I have a feeling this one won't be far off.
It felt like the first nail going in our relegation coffin after the Hull defeat and performance and the three results since then have kinda confirmed that we could be on for our lowest points total since it went to 3 pts for a win.
They haven't chosen a coach they think will save us, they've chose a coach they 'hope' will have resale value in the future after a successful league 1 campaign. If they really wanted to preserve our championship status they would obviously have gone for an experienced championship manager....... Anyone who puts anymore money into this lot deserve all they get.
We’ve had some great comebacks before but this gap feels too big, particularly with our squad at the minute.
Harsh. I’d say any fan who puts money into the Club is through love and support of Barnsley Football Club, and desire for it to succeed. Very little if anything, to do with support for the owners. It’s a very sad day, when fans are being criticised for that.
Let's be honest the REAL table on performances looks like this. 17. Bristol 23pts 18. Derby 22pts 19. Hull 21pts ------------------------------------- 20. Cardiff 21pts 23. Peterborough 16pts 24. Barnsley 12pts I know due to points deductions that's not the table but on the pitch it is and it's absolutely pathetic.
I couldn't take my eyes the table yesterday. It looks awful and I kept hoping I was reading it wrong or it hadn't updated. Dire. Am currently penning my first song, 'Doomed in November' ....... A sombre track with overtures of Soul and a hint of Country.
The saying down before the Christmas decorations could pretty much apply to us this season unless something dramatically changes in the next month.
Can you add a ( ) after the title? Something like 'Doomed in November (but we won't do nothin' crazy)'
2009 - 12 points and -17 GD, compared to today - 12 points -18 GD. Main difference between 2 seasons league wise is we was only 5 points off 21st.
Fair to say in the past I have had better weeks in the build up to playing my hometown club than I will next week.
tbf he said not sure, and I feel the same. Cooper and Wilder for eg. seem to have new manager bounce.
