Wednesday have launched their Early Bird Ticket Scheme for next season. Fans have 4 days to take up the offer, but they must pay the whole amount up front. Could it be they are the next club in trouble?? It would be a terrible shame.
Honestly can't imagine a single fan taking them up on this offer after the farce of getting the season tickets refunded during COVID
They make us look like a well run business. The most expensive month of the year, a few days to find the cash and no option to pay in installments.
That's taking the P155 big time. Unless they're going down the 'Xmas prezzie' route. But really ......... beggars belief that one
Their players and manager got booed off at half time and full time last night. Most fans will have had their last pay day before Xmas with a heavy month of spending in front of them. The timing is that poor, by the club, that it is so blindingly obvious that this is an urgent and desperate attempt to raise some funds and quick. We shall see how this unfolds…
1) It's the run up to Christmas ... they are loons. 2) Who knows what will happen next week never mind next season with covid/lockdowns 3) 10 year deal? 4) Fans due refunds still? 5) Have you seen the dates? 5a ) Cheapest price up to the 13th December, then the other prices end 30th December. What will be the price come 1st Jan? I suspect they'll rocket. I also suspect if I was one of them, I'd be giving them two fingers. But we're all football fans and the owners know I won't go to the nearest rival like I would with my shopping. - SWFC - Massive prices, massively early. - SUFC - "I'm not a football man and I don't care" (may have mixed those quotes) from the CEO - us - The stadium, the west stand, as successful season defined by profit on player sales etc.
The business acumen of Paul Conway gets some stick, but Dejphon Chansiri, makes him look like Elon Musk.
Queues forming already from the piggy club shop down towards the city centre. Got to admire em. 1st one in on Monday gets a 2% discount.
I don't think we're in much of a position to laugh at the Fowls right now. We might find ourselves in similar very soon.......
For a club with recemt/current massive financial problems i would love to know the wage bill of this league one outfit. Liam Palmer Sam Hutchinson Dominic Iorfa Chey Dunkley Barry Bannan Massimo Luongo Nathaniel Mendez-Laing Marvin Johnson Lee Gregory Saido Berahino Josh Windass Callum Paterson Must all be on some decent coin.
I would guess that, if there are one thousand lunatics who snap up this ‘offer’, that would cover the above players’ wages for a fortnight at the most. If there’s two thousand lunatics, they may even draw a wage at Christmas this year too.
