Anyone who thinks the flatbread was dear for £5, needs to look around more. It’s bang on the money. £9 at JarBar - although that includes fries. I believe they are made by the chefs from the executive level - the curry was. So it’s not cheap stuff you get in a local takeaway. I thought the price was spot on, and so did everyone else I went with.
Yup. Probably right. Out in Leeds from a hippy street food seller van, you be paying £6.50-£7.50 easily.
Well done Lee - Three of our group of five had the flatbread and all thought it was spot on, well-packaged and presented and £5 was a realistic price.
Does look nice that and I think a fiver is reasonable especially considering its in a football stadium. Ive not seen many street food vans that would sell something like that for less than a fiver. The ones in York would be three or four quid more. (Yes taking advantage of the tourists probably).
Craft ales , IPA and street food seems very popular . Have you been to brew York? The range of craft ales etc and street food they do are amazing and worth going to York alone for
Do you mean Spark York where Brew York have one of the containers? Lots of street food/beer places all made out containers? (With a roof over it all in winter). Amazing place. Brew York brewery/ tap room etc is round the corner is great also but smaller selection and only do Yuzuu japanese street food.
Kind of yes , brew york have a larger selection of beers on their own premises than in the spark. I agree though spark is brilliant. Excellent food and drinks
Ah ok. I see a few people talk about Brew York and actually meant Spark is why I asked . There are a few other bars upstairs in spark as well. Both great places though. Very lucky to have them on my door step although its crazy in York an a weekend right now with the Christmas Market. Actually I’m off for a tour of Brew York in a couple of weeks with a photography group Im part of.
