    The Wire is the best series out there, full stop.

    Also loved Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue back in the day - two great shows from Stephen Bochco.

    I couldn’t get into that one. Only thing watchable late at night, but still confused.
    The sequel series with Kelley Hawes was better, aesthetically.. :)

    Will have a look, ta.. I only have cheap tv & storm took my aerial down. Will see how much is on iPlayer.
    Currently watching thrones in dvd for the umpteenth time. The difficult, but important, 5th season.. too many plot threads to get your head around at once. ?
    Joey Barton & Ramsay Bolton are related, I’m sure.. o_O

    Dempsey& Makepeace are married in real life. Glynis Barber & Michael Brandon..
    Apparently, they were together through shooting season 3, but kept it in the down low.
    A 4th series was written, but was already the most expensive show ITV had ever commissioned. Shame..
    Got me through puberty, at least.. :oops:
