    If you have the full Sky Package how do you get BT Sports as cheaply as possible (just want it for The Ashes)

    I hate BT Sport. I used to be interested in European Football until they bought the full rights to it. Looks like they're ruining cricket coverage too. No highlights programme available for the Cricket either.

    If you know someone who has BT Sports, get the sign in details and then go via the BT Sport app on Sky.

    He never watches it but he gets it as part of his BT TV package.

    I’m not certain but I think the channel can be watched on 2 or 3 devices.
    Alternatively you can sign in on your phone and then cast it to the telly

    I got iptv' if you have a certain brand of tv i believe its lg or samsung you can have the app transferred onto it without a firestick' i have the basic sky package but bought this for all the things i couldn't get ie movies', bt sports discovery etc' i pay £50 for a year and you get everything ' theres loads on facebook that do it' the guy i use is called stigtv..

    Should be mandatory to allow a highlights package on terrestrial TV imo. I'm not paying for BT sports, only have sky at the moment because my daughter got me a good deal until January.

    My pal gets best sky package you can get with his work so he’s let me use his login for the Ashes. Wouldn’t have paid extra for it on top of my normal Sky Sports package it’s a **** take.

    This is horrific news! I just presumed Sky would have it.

    Ahh that’s something- I can get that. I’ll be watching the morning session though on my phone. I worked out how to get Virgin Go on my phone earlier and part of my Virgin package is Sky and BT Sports. Not ideal but it will do and I’ll be in bed watching it so all good. If I can’t stay awake no problem!

    Made an account for a monthly pass. I want to cancel straight away in case I forget to do so before January 7th and get billed again but bloody hell to do so isn't made as easy as when you cancel things like Amazon or Netflix.

    Well that was fun (not). I stayed up late, watched a film until 0045. Switched my VPN on, then Virgin Go, then BT Sports. Chat then watched an Aboriginal lady welcoming us all to Australia, then the anthems. 0100 ticked by and the much anticipated first ball of an Ashes. What…….

    Burns failed again and I thought well, Malan will steady things won’t he? Then…..my picture froze and went black. It was BT Sport telling me to go to sleep. It’s not worth staying up for. I did that but woke up about two hours later to check the score on BBC Cricket. I didn’t bother trying to get the broadcast back.

    Should I try again tonight? Starting half an hour early so 0030 for me. Hmmm, maybe I’ll give it a few overs…
