No Patrick was very hit and miss though that was more from a lack of money (at championship level) and the experience of administration making him ultra cautious. From my point of view the club has been sliding slowly backwards since Dennis left. I suspect we will end up back where we were when I first started going.

In my opinion, I’ll be drunk in a couple of hours.

Played in a blitz chess tournament this afternoon in a bar. Had a brilliant time. Was immensely more pissed off when I missed a winning move which cost me first place than I was when Preston's second goal went in.

Having been bothered for 60 years I can safely say that I am very much bothered.
I'm with those in this thread who have said the same. The ones who have said that they'll be bothered win or lose. The ones who have said that they'll still be bothered even if we're in the National League / Conference.
I was bothered when we had just over 1000 against Workington in the old division 4 and had a future which was a lot less ominous than it is now.
It really is quite simple. If you're not bothered then just don't go. If you're not bothered and have been on here saying you're not bothered then don't come back on here and keep repeating the fact that you're not bothered.

Problem is you’ll be bothered with a lot fewer people. I’ve been bothered for 55 years but this lot are killing it off.

It's going to be the middle of January at best before we might win our second league game played on a Saturday.
It's gut wrenching to see how we've just sleep walked into relegation this season.

I'm back to where I was after we let Wilson and Redfearn go and missed our best chance of getting back up. Don't get me wrong - I don't think we'd ever have established ourselves as a top flight team, but after that lack of ambition it was a slow and depressing slide downwards, albeit one assisted by the ITV deal collapse. But I felt then that if the owners weren't fully invested in the project then there wasn't much point me being. And that's the way I feel now.

I get your logic but for me it isn't the way forward, I don't know what the answer is but I believe that we must stay loyal to our club ,our town & to ourselves.

Feels like Conway and co are running the club into the ground and yes I’m bothered and angry about that but what can i do I’ve accepted the fact that we’re going down this season and the younger me would have let results like today spoil my weekend but not anymore after 40 plus years a season ticket holder I’ve realised there’s much more to life like family and friends especially in these Covid times.

I am bothered but kbow we will be a league 1 team next season. The club has been on a downward slope off and on the field for a few seasons now
This moneyball approach might be OK for baseball but not for the EFL. These owners have no love for the club and no respect for the feelings of the fans.

I went today and it was a tough watch and I'm suffering now. My train home was cancelled and I'll probably not get in till past 21:00 but I'm still glad I went and supported the team. Next live game for me will be boxing day and after a few days sulking I'll be looking forward to that.

    well said Tykester -

I have had some brilliant times over the years with BFC - I am certainly not 'abandoning' them now they've hit a bad patch - I'm neither 'abandoning' the players nor the owners.
    (and I don't think we'll go down!)

Was bad under patrick when he let hill sign his mates from rochdale. With patrick he put his own money in wrote off debts, subsidising the academy each year if this lot put the same percentage of their alleged wealth in things could be diffrent but they are just here to buy and sell players. And then theres the missing 750k

Patrick chucked money in to a club losing cash and got praised for it when other clubs have owners covering debts they get called a basket case. Owners not putting money should be a good thing because we want the club only spending what is made.
