    Bottom line is that Red Bull got the last tactical decision of the season right and Mercedes got it wrong. All that went before became irrelevant.

    There’s no difference. All those scenarios are out of his hands.

    If the race distance was 59 and everything else was equal would he still be a fraud?

    Max Verstappen has done nothing wrong.

    Incorrect. If the rules had been followed then Mercedes would have won. They made the right tactical decision.

    Hard to make the correct tactical call when you don't know the referee will change the rules at the last minute.

    If the rules had been followed and he hadn’t had the Championship handed to him illegitimately, then being called a dubious and to some, unrecognised, champion wouldn’t be happening. Never said Max had done anything wrong - but he didn’t win the drivers championship in my eyes. You’re putting words in my mouth.

    Because it seems like 10 years ago now with all that's gone on can you remember what would have happened if Lewis had pitted the lap after max under the SC? Had his lead been eroded under the safety car r could he have still come back out in first?

    I think they have a massive chance. But it’s always difficult to reverse a decision of such high profile and with such a lasting legacy.

    No. I think he would have come out behind and also knowing that cars were told not to pass before the u-turn?

    Only a select number of cars were allowed to be overtaken on the last lap. That’s illegal. It’s either no cars or all of the cars. If it had been the latter, then the race would have finished behind the safety car.

    The rule is in most online articles.

    He would have dropped behind max as the VSC ended as Hamilton approached the pit enrty I belive.

    Ffs here we go again, nobody is putting words in your mouth at all. I said he’d done nothing wrong, not that you said he had.

    I think it’s childish that you won’t respect him as champion. Both drivers have given us an amazing season and I have full respect for both of them regardless of today’s outcome. If MV had bashed LH out of the race, I’d get it, but he didn’t.

    No, the safety car went in while there were still other lapped cars that should have passed.

    There wasn't time for them all to pass, so by the time they all did, the race would have finished with the safety car still on the track.
