You said you were all for something to coerce people in to being vaccinated. Essentially blackmail. You’ve then repeated your support for it, even if you don’t want that term to be used.

Im glad you're unconcerned Churton. There will be time for that later when you realise that you have voluntarily rolled up your sleeve to participate in a global population reduction initiative. When that penny finally drops you will at least be able to take some solace from the fact that you have reduced your carbon footprint and done your bit towards saving the planet.

Lateral flow tests have always been for when you aren't showing symptoms, your wife should know this. The likelihood is that by the time she had symptoms she was no longer infectious, which is what the LFT is designed to check. It says on the website however that LFTs will for the most part still detect covid when symptomatic, so there will always be odd cases.

I still stand by a LFT being more reliable than a covid passport. PCRs for large scale events is unworkable so this is the next best thing. It is a lot more reliable than a passport whichever way you dress it up. And im very much pro vaccines.

If they were going to use a virus for depopulation purposes why would they use the vaccine to kill? That would only kill the sheeple and leave the dangerous free thinkers alive. Surely it'd make more sense for the global cabal to engineer a deadly virus with a working vaccination and then let the virus kill off the brave freedom fighters who might oppose them, leaving behind an easily managed flock of sheeple?

I had no symptoms my daughter had no symptoms at the time of testing. With symptoms the LFT should pick up the fact you have CV19. It’s literally why they exist and why you are advocating them. Possibly you know more than people working in medicine but my partner and all the people she works with see them as being almost completely pointless.

crazy man I know but I don’t drink 10 pints and drive without a seatbelt.

I’m not terrified of a virus but yes I will take basic public health advice to stop infecting myself and others because I give a toss about other people but accept people like you don’t give a toss

My uncle died on Christmas Eve last year from Covid. A cousin died in January from Covid. One of my partners work colleagues is still very seriously ill so yes I’m happy to be vaccinated to stop other families or myself going through that.

but less likely to die or infect others. That’s the nature of novel coronavirus where the science has to evolve with it.

Why do BDGH insist on me doing one then and not accept my covid passport? I have no idea why it didn't pick them up, maybe you had a faulty batch I don't honestly know. I've not heard anything like this from people I know to date including a lot in the medical profession.

If you're suggesting a vaccine passport is more reliable at stopping spread then sorry we will have to agree to disagree.

Get fully vaccinated with 2 jabs, 3 months later you need another jab. Having a booster every 3 months isnt ideal especially for younger people in good health. What a time to be alive.

It literally isn't the reason, sorry. This has always been the aim, so no I don't know more than people working in medicine I'm going by the govt website which has been clear for all to see for nigh on 2 years now.

The experience is pretty common amongst the nurses that work with The missis. All the nurses on her ward have had CV19 at some point over the year. The lateral flows have been accurate around 50% of the time.

I would say they both form parts of a strategy. If you can reduce risk by 60% that’s a good start. If you further sweep some people up in via testing all the better.

We’re you this exercised about the police bill that went through last week removing the right to protest and giving Govts the ability to strip citizenship from 6 million predominantly black peopl?

so the purpose of the tests is to pick up Whether someone has Covid or not very literally. Glad we agree. In my experience and others working within the NHS they are notoriously unreliable. At the moment the ward my partner works on has a Covid outbreak. They are all doing PCR and lateral flow tests daily as management there see lateral flows alone as being too unreliable.

Agreed it’s not great obviously over time the virus will almost certainly mutate into something benign but the interim period isn’t great.

The correct term is, “hear, hear!” It is an abbreviation for “hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!” ... On the Web, “here here” outpolls the correct “hear hear” 153,000 to 42,000.

Those who vote for the passport today can forget about getting back in at the next election. I don't think the Tory party and Labour realise how bad their election results will be in a few years time.

They've watered it down already by including LFTs.
