Early rumours on Talksport regarding playing behind closed doors again due to the new Covid strain......could the great escape be about to happen again?
Can we have 5 subs as well please? Can't see behind closed doors happening to be honest. Covid passes and reduced capacities will be tried before that.
The logistical issue of checking covid passes is bound to impact. A number of Clubs no longer have turnstile staff as their turnstiles have inbuilt scanners. If we're struggling to get stewards and we're told other clubs have the same problem then where are the additional bodies to check covid passes going to come from? If this is an issue for BFC with 12K attendances it will be an even bigger issue at Old Trafford and the Etihad.
They've managed it at Celtic and Rangers so far this season. The bigger clubs will likely have more staff / stewards to do the checks. I don't know if English clubs will be expected to check everybody, or do spot checks though.
Yes please, far more palatable watching at home on ifollow than dragging myself down to Oakwell on a wintery Saturday afternoon at the moment.
If we get stadiums shut quickly our lads who can only play in training ground situation of nobody there to watch could give us a play off push.
Don’t know about Celtic but the Rangers trial was v Dundee and only Dundee fans were asked to produce proof of vaccinations. All 200 of them.
How tinpot are we if that's what we're relying on. It would time to pack it in.. put the lock on the gate and put sheep on the field.
How about letting the people who want to go, go and watch and the EFL/ PL exercising some common sense and relaxing the blackout restrictions and allowing iFollow passes to ST holders?
