    First time i saw us play them,1st game of the season 1968 - 69 beat us 3 - 2. Never been to their ground though.

    Got to say - watching Barrow tonight made me think. Maybe L2 is the best league in the country.

    I know, I’m talking ****, but just nice to see honest lads playing the best they can.

    L2 still have the ‘bigger clubs’ in their league, but the disparity is less. They are the honest leagues, and there’s a lot to be said about that.

    No Derby, No Reading, No Weds and no parachute money as such. Just honest clubs, in small grounds doing what they can. If anyone else watches local club football, you’ll know what I mean.

    Hopefully we win at our ground. Replay tickets would be like rocking horse ****. Be lucky if we get enough to cover the die hard fans who travelled for a half 12 kick off at QPR that was on TV.

    Letting one manager put you off a full league is a bit silly - you know better Helen!!

    He’s a ****, but Bristol Rovers are a decent outfit and have some nice back room staff (met most of them a few years ago).

    Think they ve sacked a load and replaced them with Joeys henchmen from what I can gather. Tbf their fans forum have raised money for Refuge after his latest charge.

    First Oakwell clash with Barrow since a 1969 FA Cup tie, that we won 3-0.

    From a selfish point of view, no offence to Ipswich, I'm chuffed. Never seen us play Barrow. Makes the tie a bit more interesting. They'll bring a few thousand too unless we're in lockdown again by then.
