West Brom aren't playing particularly well, yet it looks like a training session for them. Feels like a matter of time until they inevitably score. Dread to think what we're scoring on the entertainment index as I'm struggling to keep my head out of my phone while its been on. Mel Machin-esque.
Not at the match, nowt I can do about that for the foreseeable. Watched the last 20 mins of the first half and Judas Priest we are piss poor.
Dreadful. Unable to keep the ball long enough to build any kind of momentum or pressure. Midfield totally missing, not sure if Gomes has actually touched the ball yet...
I still can’t work out how basically the same players can have got so much worse. From Struber taking over they hit mid table form. Under Val they were top 5. Now we are comfortably bottom if you ignore WRDC points deduction
Agree we looked OK for the first 20 and they did have the last 25. However, amidst all the understandable doom and gloom, if we can get Gomez and Benson ( so far so disappointing) into this game and get some service to Carlton and Asaka then we can do these. Needs a stirring half time team talk and some leadership on the field. PS Morris is immense.
We pass it around the back line side ways backwards then lose ball and were in trouble. Suprised the owners wanted to implement this style its awful
Sorry to be negative, and I know we are level with 3rd place at HT but that was as abject a performance as any this season. Twice we had 7 men in a line on the 18 yard box, yet marking nobody. They attack the line with 3, then have a 2nd wave of 4 ready for the next wave. Unchallenged. A matter of time I fear. Hope we take some confidence from 0-0 and give it a go, but seen nothing from the tactics or personnel to suggest we will Iseka looks as interested as the stay away fans. COYR etc ......
But we’re still in it!! So cheer up. we know we’re the worst side in the Division (thank you Mr Conway) but we’re playing one of the better ones. I know we don’t look like scoring but while the games on, and we’re still in the match, we’ve got to give it a little more hope.
