Gathering instead of a party? That’s like using simulation instead of diving. We all know it’s cheating shithousery but they use it enough times to make it sound the acceptable.
They’ve crapped on all govt department staff all over the country too because as far as I’m aware drinking alcohol is banned on government department premises.

But what about but what about. Stock answer from some on here. Nothing I said was defending the Tories, it was aimed at the police and their lack of action at the time on both that incident and so many others around the country.

But yeah the whatabouttery brigade pop up like a little pack of ineffective attack dogs barking up the wrong tree.

    Merry xmas.

Factually incorrect but keep believing it. Personally know of two large gatherings in my locality where the police just turned a blind eye to it because they are scared of the families involved.

    Explain yourself?

Do you think if we had a general election now Labour would be elected? That's my point. If we have one now all it will do is reset the clock on a new Tory term in office.

No whatabouttery here pal. I just don't think Labour would gain a majority. We'd end up at best with a lib dem Tory coalition again which wasn't exactly a resounding success last time.

Did I say they've investigated EVERY gathering or did I say they've investigated other gatherings and parties?

    Tbf. You did say
it’s just the Tory elite they turn a blind eye to.
Which I find unlikely. Public disorder may be an inevitable outcome they’d rather avoid.
Guessing it’s in reference to that.

There are more revelations coming out daily. The investigation report coming out today will have to be continued.
I await the outcome and it’s results. It’ll either be damning or a cover up.

So it seems when Case was appointed to head the enquiry, no10 were well aware that he was implicated in his own scandal, they genuinely believed that was the currency they needed for the investigation to be a whitewash.

There’s nothing accidental or incompetent about the charlatans running this country. It’s top to bottom corruption.

And for anyone excusing this shotshiw. Governments aren’t supposed to be held to the same standards as the rest of us. They’re running the country, they should be held to much higher standards. No ifs or buts.

Quite right. And the civil service pride themselves in particular on their impartiality and integrity. Those two factors are often used in defence of our 'permanent' civil service setup. Case is the head of that organisation and has shown an absence of those qualities in initially accepting the role to head up the investigation. So Johnson is undermining our administrative government having already attempted to bypass parliament and to weaken the role of the judiciary. We regard him as a clown, but he is actually much more dangerous than that.
