It would please the boo boys who will rejoice in managing to drive him out of the club & once he is replaced by Victor the goal machine our goal scoring problems will be over !
dunno if its even true, but if it is CW would need to rediscover his scoring touch quick or they would destroy him
If he plays him up top, then it is understandable as he will score goals at this level. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Forest as apparently Steve Cooper is an admirer and is looking to strengthen his forward line
https://www.teamtalk.com/news/vaelrien-ismael-targets-reunion-with-cauley-woodrow I would miss him if he went.
It says Woodrow scored 13 goals and helped Barnsley to a shock promotion to the Championship, now how can an article like that be taken seriously
I think the WBA fans would be underwhelmed by his signing so there'd be huge pressure on him and Val to perform
I think they would too, but if they play him as a striker and give him the service, he’s well capable of hitting the ground running.
I'll bang the drum again. Play CW in and around the pen spot and he'll score goals. Last goal from open play for us a header in exactly that position.
You can see why after seeing Hugill for a few teams now I’m not sure why anyone rates him all he was interested in doing the other night was fouling our defenders. He actually did it 5 times before he finally got booked for it. Nice that Helik left one on him and get away with just a yellow.
I'd certainly keep him, notwithstanding unless there are some incomings we can't afford to get rid of any bugger!
We’ll miss him when he’s gone, but sadly we’re as good as down so any 7 figure bids for our highest earner would be very difficult to refuse given the cost of relegation
I’ve just realised the genius of Vals system. The popular opinion is that his system works best with less talented players, so the the goal is to sell the existing players for £££££££, whilst scouring the lower leagues for worse replacements. It makes perfect financial sense, and sporting sense in that you can get into the playoffs AND rake in the cash!
Woodrow is a good player but he's not Premier League quality. You'd think WBA would be targetting players who can play at that level if that's where they want to end up.
