    And sure enough, Liverpool equalise when the game should be gone already.

    I think VAR must be bust this afters. A strong penalty claim in this match and one in the Newcastle - City game and neither went to review.

    Yes. Would be difficult for them to finish above city anyway but I think that’ll make their title chances fairly remote

    The problem with VAR is it's still operated by incompetent refs and the only way to get a decision to be reviewed, no matter how bad the decision was, is for said incompetent refs to decide for themselves to review it.

    Needs changing to a tennis style 3 challenges per match system and I also see absolutely no reason why those in the VAR room have to be referees rather than simply video editors/directors capable of finding and playing the relevant clips when asked

    This would be far better than how it is now. Would make the game more entertaining as well. The most important aspect of the technology is goal line technology, anything else is pretty much down to interpretation. The Robertson challenge & the Kane challenge should both have been only Yellows. It’s been a fast & frantic game, & those challenges reflect that whilst not being too over the top.

    To be fair, it's better than last season when they judged offsides by the millimetre. Literally no-one asked for that.
