I understand you think you know better than all the managers that select Woodrow and the one that nearly got us promoted and who values him enough to pay millions for him but as the saying goes we shall see
I know better than no one, it was just my opinion that when he was playing so poorly and offering nothing he should have been dropped i stand by that. It wasnt like i was criticising him as a player like when people thought mowatts pace held him back and he wouldnt attract a top 6 championship team.
Least clinical strikers in the Championship (minimum 30 shots): Jordan Hugill - 3% of shots result in a goal Cauley Woodrow - 5% ️ Josh Koroma - 5% Andraz Sporar - 6% ️ Jonson Clarke-Harris - 6% ️ Charlie Austin - 6% Callum Robinson - 8%
Charlie Austin never seems to miss goals against us! Looks like Val'll get Dike anyway, probably on loan again.
Will Fulham have a sell on clause ?. I will be disappointed to see him leave. Probably our best pro at the club. Best striker since Bruce. Out of form at the minute ,how's the phrase go Form is temporary class is permanent. Good luck mate whatever you do.
Talk about using stats to interpret an agenda. Can you also find stats showing how many strikers have played as out and out strikers and don’t have to often play a deep midfield role as well. Also, what % of service they have had when playing up top. Also, are they playing in a team that has plenty of possession and create plenty of chances?
Could be wrong but I'm sure I remember Fulham having a 50% sell on clause due us getting him on the cheap.
I have always liked Woodrow but you have to question now if his heart is in it anymore? - if you have a chance to play for someone else with better current prospects then you are always going to take it so get rid now for the best price available imo and move on - we are as good as down anyway so may as well bank the money and plan for next year
Not hard to see why his head isn't in it. Has a new gaffer every few months, team is playing like crap and he is getting next to no service and not to mention loads of fans call him useless every week.
Where’s the agenda? It was a post related to him that I posted nothing more or less. I think he’s a great player - but it’s gone stale for a number of reasons.
Well they're not going to do that in a million years.. I think we'll be lucky to get half the five million for Woodrow. That would be just over a million for us and the same for Fulham. So personally I'm not expecting any kind of a rallying transfers window this January to avoid religation. I fear Conway thinks gates are going to hold up in L1 next season due to what happend last time we went down. Perspective and attitude even interest, as totally changed in the fan base now... What a shock Mr Conway is in for.
Leeds, Palace and West Ham also interested if you Google his name. Orlando are open to offers from the PL apparently, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at a bottom half PL team.
I said to a Leeds fan I know after last season that they could do a lot worse than Dike to fill in for when Bamford is injured. As it turns out, he probably would’ve got a fair bit of game time had Orlando not seemingly priced him out of any sort of move.
Because those stats only serve to fuel the ‘Woodrow doesn’t care, ‘Woodrow is idle’ comments. They simply don‘t show anywhere near the full picture. They don’t show for example he is our leading goal scorer. We all know he’s been ‘out of sorts’ for a few games but those stats aren’t simply fully representitive of his game all season
I believe OC only have his contractual rights for another year. So they’ve to cash in eventually. If he goes to West Brom, that’s them in the top two by May. Unbelievably raw but horrible to play against and a very good finisher. Only going to get better too. His presence alone creates space for others. We’d have been smacked last Friday night if you swap him for Hugill (garbage).
you been on the sherry, the premier league play with fast strikers who can run inside the channels, Woodrow is no way premier class
