What happens if nobody wants any of our players ? is the question people should be asking and frankly worried about Frieser was obviously let go to get him off the wage list as fast as possible. It may be the case we don't even have enough money in reserve to even continue paying the players, staff etc
Then that would be more mismanagement on the clubs behalf. Oulare being a massive waste of time and money. Can see why fans at his previous club rejoiced when we signed him. Probably couldn’t believe how stupid we are. Fully expect Collins to leave before the end of Jan only player truly performing at Championship level this season.
But that's football isn't it? I agree that the board have made many mistakes, particularly with recruitment. However to say that they don't sign players is simply untrue.
Let's face it if the plan is followed through as we all expect it to be saleable assets will be sold to be replaced by U23s from aboard if they meet visa rules or U23s from this country that are no longer wanted by their current clubs in the hope that they'll be made saleable assets in the next 18 to 24 months. The CEO is more of a yes man than any one his predecessors so don't expect any deviation from the plan I certainly won't be expecting any Dike type loans or even any Matty James type ones. If league position was at all a factor for the 80% mob they would invest in the squad in the window by signing proven players not punts sadly we know all too well league position isn't a factor so U23s it will be. Gone are the days of even trying to sign the best players from clubs below us in the pyramid like we did under Cryne. The state of the club is dire and I have real fears about the possibility of admin next season because the 80% mob have literally nothing to lose by the club going into admin because they haven't put anything in.
