This truck driver certainly had one https://metro.co.uk/2021/12/28/lorry-collides-with-plane-waiting-to-take-off-at-heathrow-15833400/
I've watched this over and over many times and I have no idea how it can all come down like a house of cards. He doesn't hit the racking with any force and doesn't seem to hit any supporting legs. Complete mystery to me is that one
Anyone seen that footage of the carnage at the premier inn near the keepmoat from yesterday? HGV ploughed through the hedge at the beefeater and smashed into over a dozen cars. I’ll see if I can find a link
Apologies for the source, I had this sent on messenger and I can’t forward it from there. This is the only report I can see with the video attached https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17164354/aftermath-car-crash-premier-inn-video-lorry-driver-hospital/
I'm having a 5hit day so far. Trains cancelled and got to work late due Saturday service and Covid. Been told I've to work it back. Staying while five today. Not giving them satisfaction. Just seems to be one kick in nuts after another with work at the minute. Probably be same tomorrow and New Years Eve. Daft thing is if I'd just kept my trap shut and turned in nowt would have been said. If you work for the NHS honesty isn't the best policy. Don't contact anyone and be up front. Wait until you get pulled in to the office. Reason being they don't want the confrontation and will let it go. Done being honest about things at work. I'd never take the **** though. That's what annoys me the most. Now I've got the reverse going home. There isn't a train via Moorthorpe from Wakey until eight. Gunna have to go via Castleford and Meadowhall. If that's cancelled I've fc uked it.
I once hit a water sprinkler pipe with the mast of an FLT. The pipe dropped and so did the water pressure causing the fire alarm to trigger causing the evacuation of the entire business until the fire engine arrived and we got the all clear. Not my finest hour.
