We got to the club about 11am and there was quite the queue, which got bigger by time we got our tickets. Think there’ll be a very decent following tonight.
We took more than that for the night match at Shrewsbury in League 1 that I watched us lose. Shows how bad we've been when even with Stoke game called off we can't crack a thousand over the Pennines.
It's about 400 for Forest too. I guess the results don't help, but there are other issues I reckon, such as the COVID nonsense, the travel expense, it's just been Xmas and so on. But yeah. Not sure I can recall such low away crowds for games at Ewood or Forest.
Blackburn following is decent in the circumstances but Forest is easier to get to, a better away day and on a bank holiday so 400 odd is a shocker. I'll be there regardless.
Agreed, COVID worries / requirements will play a part I’m sure. Still, 700 hundred to pop over border for a league games is almost unheard of. We took that many to Oldham in the EFL trophy 3 or so years ago!
