In my working life my First manager said to me "don't be afraid to make mistakes and fail" we all learn from failing which begs the question... Why hasn't the management and players.
I for one will not be going again as the failure is getting on my nerves...

How can thousands of fans see it, yet the manager can't, doesn't want to, or has been told not to.

My first decent manager said the same. He wasn’t too impressed if you didn’t learn from your mistakes though and kept making the same ones. In fact the rare people who kept making the same mistakes got moved on

I always tell new members of my team. We can’t avoid mistakes. We can’t avoid failures. The important thing is to address the issue and then we can look at whether they were the result of procedures or individuals.

Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and do better.
