We need to start building for league 1 now and you never know that may lead to a great escape this year. If not a team coached by Poya with stability and continuity the likes of Walton J Williams Anderson Sibbick Kitching, Benson, Hondermarck, Brittain, Morris Iseka Cole, plus others and a few new signings with money in for Woodrow Collins Helik Styles we can build, be financially secure and come back again.
Not sure of your point here but as you say so far, lots of games remaining im sure they will improve, get stronger and our continued support can only help.
Not with arsebaggage coaching them they won't he's just a more defensive version of Schopp another yes man given a job he's not up to because he won't rock the boat for a while but as soon as he wakes up and smells the coffee and starts suggesting the need for experience etc in the squad like all his predecessors he'll be gone whether that's under his own steam like GS,. VI and PH or shoved out the door like JM, DS and MS.
Again re read what you have wrote, arsebaggage coaching them More defensove version of Schopp Yes man not up to the job Starts suggesting experoence will be moved on Its too early to tell whether Poya will be successful or not, he needs to be given time and patience to be able to work with this squad to bring out the best of them. JM, MS and in the end DS were moved on as they were struggling and the majority of fans agreed with the decision, PH left also before he was pushed as we were poor with a decent squad and for GS and VI we were a stepping stone for them. Under GS though we were lucky to stay up due to Wigans point deduction and when he left we were near the botton of the division.
I can't be bothered turning up anymore. I've managed 4 games this season despite having a ST. It's not a angry "I'm not going anymore" or "I'm not going until.." It's simply I have lost all motivation.
but Val didn't only get "some" effort, he got everyone putting a shift in more or less from the off. And I hoped that would happen when Schopp was sacked but I'm not so sure. By the time we go down I think the effort will have dwindled unless results improve rapidly as it's a lot easier to put effort in when you are getting the reward of winning games.
This holier than thou approach to posting when emotions are raw is poor imo. People are understandably pissed off after yet another pathetic performance, when it was leaked out (not by us) that we've lost another player, and people are understandably on edge. I'm still pissed off now 12 hours later, so thank christ I didn't read this last night.
Im certainly not a happy clapper i just had to comment against some of the hysterical nonesense written on some the other threads.
The owners plan hasn’t failed! The sooner we stop expecting to win games and understand the only reason for playing football matches is to make our players worth more the easier it is to stomach. we were literally told this in the summer.
When a coach leaves we cant expect or insist the new coach to play the exact same way as the previous coach, Val way worked for us because, 1 it was a new style that took others by surprise short term, 2 . 5 subs meant we could play that way. 3 no crowds helped our young players,3 Alex Mowatt. 4 Daryl Dike.
Be interesting to know tho mate that if they made it known the club was up for sale whether they’d get any takers or not.
The better the players become and more wins they get the more money comes in, you dont increase values and make money by losing, playing poorly and playing in league 1. I cant make any sense of what you have wrote.
