can we go back to playing 'Valball' until we have on-field proof that we have players that can complete a pass to a team mate?

Even "Valball" won't work with the midfield not picking up the knock downs and second balls.

    What I was thinking.

Ismael's style is dependant on being able to physically compete. Something sadly lacking in the majority of our team this season. That pass from Palmer for Blackburn's first goal was just awful. Just a casual one touch pass, probably because he copped out of getting his foot on the ball and trying to do something useful. Iseka did the same for the second goal. Just a lazy tap to Styles, who then gets surrounded by opponents while Benson just stands and watches.

No graft in the team at all.

Four of the integral parts of this system are not available to us - Dike,Woodrow, Freizer and Mowatt.

Sollbauer, Chaplin, Thomas and Mcgeehan would have complimented this squad.

    Collins

    Sollbauer, Helik, Anderson

    Brittain, Mcgeehan, Styles, Thomas

    Chaplin, Woodrow, Morris.

We don't have the physicality for Valball any more.
We are so lightweight ... oh and poor.

No, because it's so uncouth, and jolly well offensive on the eye.
