Yeah, but any money coming in has to come from somewhere. I think it'll have to register with them at some point - just a case of when, and whether it will be too late.
That’s a real shame. I remember a few months back how much you we’re looking forward to being able to get a season ticket after retirement.
I know....I had no expectations of success. I honestly thought we'd struggle - the inevitable low after last season's highs - but believed we'd ultimately have enough for mid-table. I could even take relegation; god knows I've seen enough of 'em, but not like this. The club is being systematically ripped apart from within.
It will be interesting to see how the s/t renewal letters are worded. If they are condescending and foolish then we will make up our minds accordingly.
If they had an ounce of business sense between them, they'd be slashing the prices for next season. At full whack, I'd be amazed if they got much over 5k renewals if the offerings don't improve on & off the pitch. Sub £200 season tickets and you might tempt more back.
£400 next year but they come with the promise of a bottle of indicator fluid, a tin of tartan paint and a left handed screwdriver all to be delivered sometime between April 2022 and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
I live too far away to make a ST worthwhile but, like others on here, I spend far in excess of the ST cost to get to 10-12 games per season, home and away. That stops next season. I’d consider any “my blood…” type advertising again to be deeply offensive given the recent communications coming out of the club. You can’t sell the supporters a partisan, up-and-at-em, underdog message when the Board are happy to let us go down with a whimper.
Yes , to me watching the reds is unconditional although moving me from the west stand has severely tested my faith but I love where I sit, love the company & love it when we occasionally win a match , whats not to like !
Very similar viewpoint here. Relegation doesn’t bother me as it’s part and parcel of football. What is happening to our club isn’t.
Does anyone really think there is anyone out there wanting to buy into the club. Cos I don’t, other than possibly a buy out by James Cryne and anyone he could get involved. But don’t forget. The analyst of players IS James Cryne. The stadium is a major stumbling block. Take a look at the Massives. They are in more financial trouble than the parson preached about. Fans up in arms. But guess what. Still a decent following. There’s nothing I’d like more than this lot to move on. But as I say. I don’t think anyone would step in. Would like to be proved wrong though.
