    I am pretty sure there was quite a hefty sell on clause attached to the deal but it was in 2015 & I have slept since then .

    Hate to say it but he's the kind of signing Leeds should be trying to get....Over hundred premier league starts and still young enough to get better.

    I think your right we let him go for 500k with a big sell on. We probably wont see any of it now though. He should go for a decent fee though.

    I see no reason why any sell on fee should not be paid to us unless Everton have bought out the clause but I have never read or heard of that happening

    Yeah i heard strong rumours they tried to buy the stones clause out. Do you have any idea of the % of holgate sell on?

    To be honest Redrum it is that long since I would be guessing but something sticks in my mind from the Chronicle about the fee being an initial fee of around £1 million rising with appearances & England call ups etc with a substantial sell on fee , this would make sense as it was not that long after we had done business with Everton with Stones with similar add ons , but knowing me I could be completely wrong .
