It is reported this morning that Dike has signed a permanent deal at West Brom , great signing which should help them push for the premier league , I hope they make it as Val appears to have plenty of cynics & I would love him to upset the establishment & make it to the big time .

Undisclosed fee but I bet its nowhere near the figure that was talked about last season.

Rumoured figure is £7m. In today’s market that doesn’t seem bad at all.

Miles out of our range, but on a 4.5 year deal that could prove very good business for WBA.

According to reports it is £7 million to start but could rise to as much as £15 million with clauses in the deal , obviously being funded by parachute payments

So what figures do we think were on our supposed option to buy permanent? (And I realise before anybody says it that we would still have had to meet his wage demands.)

I know it shouldn’t as he never really was our player…. But this makes me feel like WBA are systematically hollowing my stomach out with a spoon…

Wasn't it our American connection that brought him to us?
What is the connection to WBA this time? Probably Val and maybe Mowatt.
Perhaps working with Val wasn't and isn't a bad thing, taking aside the truck load of dosh he will be on now.

I'm actually just really happy to see him back in the Championship. Brought me so much joy last year, good look to him.

I'd imagine his value has increased after being with us, but I'd still say we were looking at £4m.

I’m a bit surprised they have signed him tbh, given that WBA fans seem to think they are limited for cash.
I like DK, very enthusiastic and a really likeable bloke, but they are making chances and the biggest complaint from their fans is the lack a consistent finisher and I wouldn’t class DK as that ( unless he’s improved a bit )

Does this rule out Woodrow going there as well?

Best of luck to them all. As a gameshow host once said....."let's take a look at what you could have won."
