Have you seen the new rules from France? Travel by road through France to other countries in Europe is no longer allowed for British people who don’t hold an EU passport. Not sure how long it will be in place for but it’s due to a combination of Covid rules and Brexit.
Canada Wedding (not mine) in Calgary. Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver, sea plane to the island, bit of whale watching and then back. Three weeks. Can’t wait.
Please send my regards to Laura. Sorry to hear her health has deteriorated. Hope she can bounce back. Love to you and Crystal.
Wow, that's a surprise. Why on earth would they cancel it now when it is 7 months away? Unless the hotel involved has gone bust or something along those lines. We are hoping to go on our June holiday to Croatia that was originally booked in July 2019, fully paid for by October 2019 and due to happen in June 2020 but which has been re-scheduled twice.
Can put you in touch with Calgary Tyke (my sister) and Freezing Tyke (another Reds fan based in Calgary) if you have time for a beer with them over there?
I thought that was a temporary COVID rule. If it's still in place, we'll have to look at going via Holland....
Sat here in our favourite restaurant in the canaries reflecting on what we have got to look forward to Majorca at Easter, Greece in September back here in October & Xmas Barnsley are still our lifeblood but not feeling the love at the moment Hope everything works out good for laura X
They mentioned COVID in their emails but could be down a number of things. I think it’ll be another year in England to be honest for most people but stick by the holiday you’ve paid for!
We’re off to Majorca in May. We had to book it as our vouchers from our cancelled trip to Barcelona for March 2020 were expiring. I really hope we can go, it will be Mabel’s first holiday and she’ll be 18 months old then so will really be able to enjoy herself.
Really sorry to hear that, still remember when she used to post! Best wishes to her and all your family.
