It's not necessarily about results for me. Sure, everyone wants to win games - last season was brilliant. I just want an honest owner who seemingly has the best interests of the club at heart. Time to win the Euromillions.
I have joined for a snoop round and while the loudspeaker sentiment from the organisers is laudable, the ambient sound from the proletariat is predictably distorted. Being unfamiliar with Facebook, I find the layout annoying. How do billions put up with this?
My first game was in October 1966 and we were bottom of the old 4th Division. So, trust me when I say I have absolutely no expectation of being top 10 Championship (and correct me if I’m mistaken, but didn’t Conway state that his expectation was exactly that at the start of the season?). However, in my opinion, the club I have loved for most of my life has changed beyond recognition and, unless something drastic happens soon, I have grave misgivings as to its future.
I dont think its the niave recruitment in the summer the poor results this season or the fact that we have really struggled in center midfield all season but we have accepted a fee from oxford to keep our center midfielder who is doing well in the league below thats getting peoples backs up. It goes alot deeper than that the treatment of the fans, lies missing money, the uncertainty over oakwell, approaching other clubs wigan, bradford etc about ground share the court case with the crynes.
personally I have very little trust in PMG or the CEO. they're going to have to earn that back through their actions. whatever covenants are in place with BMBC to block full ownership, I am massively thankful for.
I was open minded when they came i didnt get into all they billionaire hype like many did. Similar to you my trust has gone ceo no where to be seen after one interview with fans. PMG basically own the club having 80% with 20% that the crynes hold you cant do much. The most worrying things for me were the ground share with wigan, bradford, rotherham all alegdly been approached. Then theres the missing money people have been asking for questions about, and the court case with the 20% all very worrying stuff. As for the on field problems a meeting with the fans at oakwell to answer questions and something along the lines of "we know we got it wrong in the summer window we went down diffrent methods to what we have in the past for a few signings (oulare and iseka) in the January window we will try bring in some players who can help now and try turn the season around" " we also admit the appointment of schopp a manager from yhe equivalent league to the english confrance was not good enough" thats the sort of things fans want to hear but nothing. Even when they had chance to appoint a experienced manager the appoint a u21s coach from sweeden. When we were bottom of league one in 2016 we brought in hammill to try turn things around and the then owner never went missing. Its not just the results for me far from it were been treated like mushrooms kept in the dark and fed ***** every few months.
the directors are fine , schopp was fine - it was the directors fault schopp was poor because they tied his hands and picked the team - but the director’s are fine ??????
It's a nightmare mate. If you saw something yesterday and try to see it again today you end up scrolling though thousands of pages of ***** and still don't find it. This is of course deliberate to make you branch off somewhere else that you didn't intend to go. For many people it makes it highly addictive.
If your in a group you can just search for it. If your looking for something you saw day before on your time line you just need to remember who posted it
Not like him to provide a contrarian view. I smiled at how he reduced the £750k issue to 'moving money about in the company'. If this was the case, it would still be sitting somewhere within the group of companies under their control.
