    It's ok the club know what they are doing over Kane but central midfield needs more competition according to PA, don't need a LB as Vita is improving in training no really that's what he thinks, by the sounds of it were doing Sweet **** all in the transfer market at the moment as no business expected immediately. You couldn't make it up you really couldn't

    All we've done r.e outgoings really is free up two lots of wages. Hardly enough to buy anybody.

    And they won't be able to understand when season ticket sales are down more then likely, who is running the club -the muppets ?

    By the time they get round to doing anything if they actually do, any remote chance of survival will have gone and Derby who we had a 21pt start over will be above us. It just proves they don't care about league position at all.

    Aside from continued evasion of questions, there were a couple of things that leaked through which you could take an inference from.

    He was pressed about Kane and if he didn't rate him or if the club had made the deal without his input. The weak answer and how he initially tries to evade suggests to me he had very little say in it, but then when asked about Vita, he made a big play about how he picks people based on how he sees them and not what their name or transfer value is or if they are on loan or not.

    The transfer window will be what it will be and I think we should judge it once its done.. We need to generate cash and reduce overhead for the clubs survival. But we need to improve the quality of our first XI to have a slim chance of retaining our championship status. I don't think you can do both .

    Worrying. We have been awful all season and this is our chance to bring bodies in to try and get out of this mess and they have nothing in the pipeline. They seem happy with relegation then.

    Further proof, if any were required, that the club has pretty much accepted the inevitability of relegation.

    Poya's appointment wasn't the optimal one in terms of saving the season, compared to the available alternatives, and his approach so far has been towards a slow but steady rebuild and development. The lack of any urgency in the transfer window is consistent with that approach. If we were serious about trying to stay up, we'd have had our incoming business lined up and ready to go in the first few days of the window to get the maximum amount of impact.

    I have to admit, I find his comments in press interviews to be totally uninspiring, the more I read from him. He sounds like a junior manager in a large organisation - pretty much to the effect of "I've put my suggestions in a memo and hopefully they'll be accepted by management at some point." I'm increasingly getting the feeling that they appointed him as he'll go about his day to day job quietly and not create too many ripples by demanding too much of the ownership.

    I don't like or dislike him in any way. He just seems completely uninspiring to listen to, which is probably a reflection of the situation he finds himself in, in terms of the challenges facing us this season.

    We'll see next season if his appointment will have been a success. If we're being turned over by Accrington and Morecambe it will have failed.
