You're much more optimistic than me, then :D. Other than Morris, there is no body of evidence to remotely suggest that'll be the case!

Schmidt is struggling to make an appearance off the bench at the bottom end of the Danish second division which is about Northern Premier League standard from what I've seen. Victor only got what, 2 goals, in a dominant team last time we were down in L1? He's also failed and been dropped and/or been released when playing for L2 and non-league teams. Iseka might have a decent shot on him but his control seems Vic-esque and as for his, passing, jeez! Some miracle will need to occur to mend Oulare's body.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment, how can we run the rule over a player who seems never to have been available for most of the past several seasons?

The forward situation is not much better than midfield.

If we stuff Styles back in his lower left side box with Brittain doing the same the other side, then the centre backs are competent enough when confidence recharged.

That leaves trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's arse of 2 midfielders and three forwards.

Even Morris has looked groanworthy recently. We're far far too slow and need electricity running through us (despite the price hike)

We were able to pass through the teams in this division before Val abolished it. We just couldn't finish. Then we went polar opposite.

Passing or hoofing, Oulare will still be missing in inaction.

I doubt Oxford or indeed any other League One club could afford to pay c£1m for Kane and I doubt any Championship club would be willing to pay that for him. Which means that if he goes we're likely to take a loss. I think that's also likely to have been the case with Wilks, Thomas, Frieser, Schmidt, Ritzmaier, Knasmuller, Bahre, Halme, Miller, Green etc. Even assuming that we'll probably profit on Collins, Andersen, Helik, Styles, Morris, Woodrow and Brittain, since the owners have been here I'd argue that there's little evidence that their fundamental strategy (buy young, develop and sell at a profit) is working. In fact I'd argue that the success rate has fallen as of our biggest sales in recent seasons I think only Kieffer Moore was signed on their watch (and possibly Chaplin). Our other major sales e.g. Brown, Pinnock, Lindsay, Bradshaw, Potts were already here when they bought the club. I think it's even debateable whether when losses on some of those named crystalise, they will be in net credit at all.
Worrying given it's at the heart of their strategy.
