Almost my first anniversary to the day of getting it follwed by long covid. Was almost a hospital job.
Yes. Been running on fumes for seven days now. Like man flu, but still able to function. Triple jabbed anorl.
I've voted No, but in truth I've no idea. I've never had a test, but neither have I had any symptoms. It's possible I could have had it and never known, although no-one in my immediate family have had it either, to the best of their knowledge. I've been generally cautious throughout, but you never know.
Me too. I've had loads of colds but carried on regardless because I didn't have the loss of taste and smell.
That's around the time I thought I had it. I had an anti body test six weeks after I returned to work but that came up negative. I had a PCR test that September and when I was ill last month I did 10 lateral flow tests all negative.
I've not lost either of those senses. But you wake up and feel like you've run a marathon, with Jan Molby on your shoulders.
Yep. November 2020. Could hardly string a sentence together lost sense of smell and taste, the only thing that kept me out of hospital was the use of a Salbutamol inhaler. Took me 3 weeks to get over it
In the best case scenario, you probably spread your cold around. At worst, it may have been covid, so thanks for that.
Had symptoms a few times but tested negative every time. Feel like I've probably had it at some point or just unlucky with bugs last year.
Is it still a third who are asymptomatic? If so, you can probably move 7 from No to Yes. Does that make it feel more like you expected?
At the time the government were telling us to isolate only if we had all three symptoms. I have done lateral flow tests at regular intervals all negative. I've even been to the drive through test centre at Sheffield when I was self isolating. If I isolated with negative tests it would go against me on my sickness record at work. Also with me having to wear PPE and working alone I can't isolate unless I do a positive PCR test. The result can take up to three days.
100% convinced I was hospitalised through it in Dec 2019. Having all the symptoms. Lack of taste and smell. Low oxygen levels (put on oxygen.) 43C temperature. Put in single room after initially sending me to a 4 bedder. but I felt not diagnosed correctly given the way i was told and not testing for covid at the time. Also Tested positive November 2021. Felt s41te.
