Looks like this was retracted later after Simon Hoare MP threw Dominic Raab under the bus on Sky News...

I genuinely don't get a lot of the points on this thread.

If you live in the UK one of the conditions of citizenship is that you are essentially told to accept that if you come from a certain part of society, then a different set of rules (laws) applies. That is something that is understood by the 'entitled', by those who enforce the 'rules' and by most of the citizens of the Country who keep voting for that situation.

No problem with people railing against it, but it's just background noise.

Sadly true. There was a guy on the radio this morning who was educated to degree level and had run several businesses. He said he had voted Tory all his life but would never vote for them again. I get why he might think that voting Tory might help him as a businessman (probably hasn't, there is clear evidence that we have had lower growth when under Tory government over the last 30 years) so why stop voting for them now?

The thing is, it's not actually that easy to topple a Prime Minister. We're probably just over 2 years from a GE most likely. So the tories have time to pick and choose when they want to topple DePfeffel. I think everyone knows he's done for. Probably even DePfeffel.

The local elections aren't too far away. There is the fall out from covid investigations and legal challenges. The mess of brexit is still there.

You've also got the mechanics. DePfeffel won't resign. So he has to be ousted. The tories won't support a no confidence vote from the opposition. So it's down to the backbenchers. It might only need 54 letters of no confidence to trigger the tory vote, but to remove him, it needs 180 to vote against. Most of the agitators are the ERG, CRG, Net Zero Scrutiny Group, "Common Sense group" bunch of psychopaths, combined with the 2019 intake extremely concerned with holding their newly gained northern seat.

But the psychopaths think they can manipulate DePfeffel. I'm not sure they'd want him removed. So i'm not 100% sure they would quite get the 180. Though it is feasible to be wounded badly by a close victory but then resign, but I don't think dePfeffel will do anything but cling on for as long as he can, however he can.

You can also have a vote of no confidence once every 12 months under tory rules, so they have to be pretty sure they'll nobble him if they decide to take aim.

I suspect they'll try and limp through til May unless the enquiry is particularly damning.

Thank god for that, but it just shows that people think the tory party is so full of shiiit that this was an actual tory mp, got to admit I watched it open mouthed thinking it was an actual tory bimbo.

She’s brilliant; you should go look for her other videos.

And don’t feel bad about finding her believable, her timeline is full of that too.

The met should also investigate its officers to see why they didn't notice 30 people with booze walking into downing street
