What I don't understand is if he was so determined to meet with too many people and have a party he could have just contacted his many illegitimate kids and had them round for Sunday dinner

Dominic Raab in December. What now Dom. will the police not investigate even though an admission is in place cos it’s over 18 months ago.
    Links work for clarification purposes.

A clip of justice secretary Dominic Raabappearing on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show has been widely shared online after Mr Raab claimed that police “don’t normally” investigate alleged offences that took place a year earlier.

Mr Raab said this after being asked about recent reports of two parties being held at 10 Downing Street in November and December 2020, despite the strict Covid rules in force at the time.

Not the outpouring of support Boris has been getting off most of his cabinet.....

Strange he wasn't there at such a big moment. He had Truss and Patel at one side of him and Raab and Mogg at the other, but the Chancellor missing wasn't a good look and his tweet wasn't very supportive compared to what Truss tweeted just for one example.

This reminds me of a quote by Ricky Gervais in the office, namely: you have to truly stand behind your staff.......in order to stab them in the back properly.

I have a problem with Campbell wading in. Yes the pm did the wrong thing and lied. What this guy did is help to compile a dodgy, sexed up dossier to mislead parliament and has Geoff hoon has recently said, was part of an administration that burned legal advice so it could engage in a needless foreign war that killed hundreds of our own lads and thousands of innocent Iraqis. I'll listen to anybody pulling the PM apart but not this ******. Armando ianucci just been his brilliant self on Preston, Campbell? Do one please.

I think it’s more distancing himself from Bozo to give him a nice clean image when he makes his bid to become PM.
Thing is I think he has no chance. Once the racists in the grass roots get to vote they won’t want a non white with a foreign sounding name. So expect liz Truss to be the next leader God help us all.

Sunak's complicit, he only works next door, why didn't he grass them up to the feds?

Actually, why didn't the feds on duty at the time do something about it. Two old biddies having a natter and a sarnie in the park would have been done for having a barbecue.

i hope she gets the job, they’ve got absolutely no chance of winning an election with her at the helm.

Bozo might be trying to use technicalities to say he thought it was a work meeting but surely Carrie's fine for attending a gathering is a slam dunk. She doesn't work for the government, she can't have been attending a work meeting with it so if she was in her garden with 30 other people she was breaking the law.

I believe Boris and you can as well. Just forget common sense and let go of any grasp on reality.

But is it a summary-only matter which must be prosecuted within six months of the alleged offence?

If that's the case though then why is the met investigating it at all as they surely know that they are outside of the timeframe

How much more has to come out before he's gone? The media will be all over this as Lizzie leads the country and it looks very bad.
