Where did the 2,300 figure come from? I'm sure we would be entitled to a bigger allocation for a cup game, presumably the entire away stand. It will be interesting to see the numbers, given the pricing. In any ordinary season, that price would be enough to sell out whatever allocation we're given, but something circa 5,000. This time around, I'd guess something around 2,500 will be the number sold.
Excellent pricing well done both clubs. We don't like being referred to as Kirkless though All the welcome to Kirklees signs rather than Huddersfield annoy a lot of folks.
Hold on a minute, last weeks poor turn out was greeted favourably as a protest against the owners, the same was said about the West Brom match so surely no one going would be more beneficial would it not , we cannot praise low turn outs & then criticise if we do not sell out , either one way or the other & lets not forget, the gate money is split at cup matches so it will hurt our owners if no one attends
I went to the barrow game missed the west brom game due to illness i have a season ticket and have only missed night matches. Im not happy with the 80% lot and want change but ill keep attending matches untill the end of season support the lads. For me to get a season ticket next season would take a change at the top and im not too struck on poya. Ill be at Huddersfield in the cup for £10 and it should be a good day out (untill the football) ill join in any conway out chants. But if a boycott is happening as you speak of it should be done officially by the bfcst like blackpools was.
I thought last weeks attendance was pretty good considering cold weather,Omicrom and no buses.Look at Coventry V Derby 8000 for a local derby. It seems to me the FA Cup is losing some of its charm compared to years gone by.
I"m with you , I also am a season ticket holder & do not miss at Oakwell but when I replied to you it was not a dig , I was trying to reflect the mood on the BBS & there has been a lot on here recently who have been quite happy to see low turn outs & actively promoted staying away from Oakwell, but personally I go to Oakwell to see my team & get behind the lads , my dislike for the owners will be with me for a long time after they have left the club .
Ah ok. It was a poor turn out v barrow and it wasnt nice to see. But ill keep getting behind the players untill the end of season and im with you the sooner these clowns go the better.
Disagree 3500 was poor remember a few years back we took that to mk dons when dagnall scored a brace and we won 3-1 but were awful in the league nearly as bad as this season.
I agree with you & I know I was in the minority but I actually thought the turn out against West Brom wasnt"t bad either consdering it was Black Friday, on the Tv , covid passes required & a bus strike plus you could hardly see the length of the pitch with the fog & mist but again some to enjoy the fact that the crowd was low . Remember the fans are voting with their feet , with 95% of our fan base being season ticket holders then the cup matches are the ones where we have to put our hands in our pockets & fan after fan have stated that they will not give these owners another penny, we will see if the fans back up what they have been saying & there is a low take up , surely this is an opportunity to send the message .
