I'm leaving the forum for a bit. The toxic environment is not good for my head, It is the ******* that are running the club I have zero respect for, not the posters, but we are in a loop of ******* misery.. Supported the club since 1975 & my Mum & Dad are now at death's door. To quote Iggy Pop: "No Fun". Will be back, but this is Not My Beautiful Club, with my Beautiful Stadium. And you ask yourself "Where is My Beautiful Club". After the money has gone. Where are we? Al si thi, I cannot say anything positive, so shut the **** up.
Do whatever is right for you. We’ll all still be here bickering, when you’re ready to come back. Ps. I got the talking heads reference, if no one else did
Bye for now. You know where we all are when you are ready. It's hard to be strong for your mum and dad , but I know you'll do your best.
Take care, JP. Hope to see you back here when you're feeling up to it. In the meantime, keep the music playing!
Don’t stay away too long JP The bbs needs you. Make a note to dip in at least once a week and don’t let the buggers grind you down.
It may be too late to write this, but I enjoy reading your posts and I hope you're having a cheeky peek now and again. As an amateur ex-DJ at our cricket club, I always wondered what it would have been like if we'd had a "proper" DJ, and think of you! Best wishes to you and yours, don't stay away too long. The bond between Reds fans on here is far bigger than that with any transient owners, for the time being, of our club.
Totally understand. I'm currently finding different things to do. This is not the club I grew up to love, but it will always be my club. We're looking at following some different non league games for the time being. Think for our own sanity a few of us need to step back from BFC.
Take care JP. I’ll look forward to the day you return. Always remember as fans. We are not owners but. Our Club. Our team. Our Town.
I can understand your sentiments. However, what goes around comes around. Things will improve as I hope your demeanour does. Take the time out you obviously need. The club will still be here when you feel disposed to rejoin us. Take care, hope to hear from you soon.
Just read a book called 3 Kings about Busby, Shankly, Stein and how their efforts to raise their respective clubs raised the moral of the people who supported them and did so much for the cities they were in...shame our owners don't realise how much a successful club can lift people...take care JP..always like ya posts and look forward to seeing em again..
