    Frimpong was only here 6 months and while he wasnt great was he a worse signing financially than leroy lita and giving him a 2 year deal or obbi olaure rumoured to be on around 10k a week on a 2 year deal.
    Matt mills was another we signed on a 6 month deal and was absolute ***** similar to frimpong although frimpong had the talent matt mills was just past it.

    I actually saw him run up the tunnel about half way through the first half against Gudja United.
    Sadly, McGettigan committed suicide a few years ago.

    I believe Frimpong is the worst signing I've ever seen for Barnsley. For what we paid out in both transfer fee and salary, we received absolutely nothing in return. Even worse, a lack of professionalism & respect to his employers, team mates & club supporters, especially when the club (struggling at the time) had put so much faith in him.

    As I sit here, like most of us, aghast at the utter tripe that we have on occasion brought into the club there must be a counter "Best" player bought thread.
    What saddens me is we never learn...Oulare proves it
