If anyone would please care to donate, Its a sponsored walk from featherstone to Oakwell in memory of my nephew Neil McQuillan whom died of this terrible disease at the relatively young age of 46. A few yrs ago.
His nephews are doing the trek. All season ticket holders as was Neil. Many thanks in advance of any contributions.

Hi , My name is Matthew and I'm raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
With World Cancer day approaching on the 4th February. Myself , my brother and cousin figured it would be a great idea to walk to our beloved Oakwell, on the 29th January against Bournemouth. Instead of our normal drive from Featherstone on match day of roughly half an hour journey in the car, it will take approximately 4 hours to walk just under 12 miles. We do hope there is a pub stop on way ! The plan is to set off at 9o’clock that Saturday morning and arrive around 1pm .We know this is far from a marathon and much greater feats have been done and much more money will be raised . But this is us doing our bit and in loving memory of our Uncle Neil and fellow red who passed away to Cancer.
Thank you so much again .

Thanks for pointing that out lol. One asked me on saturday if I wouldn't mind putting it on the bbs. They set it up over a week ago not thinking I suppose. I know one of em reads. I'll ring him and see which game they've/they'll chose instead.

    Edit.
they've changed it to the Bournemouth game on the 29th January. I'll edit the original post thanks.

Hello everyone, we’re just shy of the target.

I know times may be tight post Christmas but of course I think we all may be able to spare a little bit of loose change for a cause which is most certainly something that we have all been affected by.

We will be proudly walking with the ‘Fev Reds’ flag, honouring my late uncle, throughout the walk so if you pass on the way to the match then make sure to give us a pip!

    Thanks in advance!
