I'm just watching out of curiosity on the red button, as we play at Birmingham on Saturday - hopefully. You have to say that Fulham play some fantastic attacking play when they get anywhere near the penalty area. Roberts was a tad unlucky, but the other three goals were superbly coordinated attacking moves and great finishes. Sunjic's was a great strike as well. If we attack Birmingham, we could get something from the game, but the Blues fans seem to report that Sunjic is playing supremely well at the moment and I think that Hernandez will cause us problems with his pace down either flank, probably our left, so we will need to be strong down there. Credit to Birmingham that they have tried to counter attack after each goal, but just have the one to show for it. The pressure will build for Birmingham if they go on to be thrashed by an even higher score today. The fans are already in revolt against the owners and all that could play into our hands on Saturday, but we have to be in the right mind-set to take the game to them and add more pressure to their players and fans. It looks as though they may have signed Alfie Mawson by Saturday. Boy do they need him. Let's hope they haven't.
Fantastic - and at the end of next season they will be relegated from the prem and be replaced by Norwich who have just won the champ at a canter. Thrilling. The pyramid is broken.
The pyramid was deliberately broken by the premier league. Parachute payments having the desired effect of creating a closed shop.
They will be back in the Championship after a season or two. As good as they are at our level they can't establish themselves in the top flight. Why does Mitrovic hang around there? He's played for them for years regardless of league and it can't be out of loyalty as I am sure someone would at least pay him the same as Fulham do.
Success breeds success. We don't have a mantra like that, but ours would be "Spend nowt and achieve nowt"
That doesn't make sense? Surely if he could get the same pay or better elsewhere the fact he stays at Fulham must be down to loyalty?
Just think how many they’d have scored if they played a team that conceded 4 against a 10 man league 2 team
Ah but in the last 3 league games they've let in the same amount as us. So yeah, that means something. Right?
Yeah it means they spend a hell of a lot more money then us so there for have far better players. We can't compete with the Fulham's of this league and the board have NO intention of doing so hence where we are and will keep dropping.
