    The way that Facebook group is run is the exact reason why I never want a fan-run club.

    There would be 10 tinpot directors falling out over misuse of club funds on Jaffa cakes.

    I haven't joined this Conway out group, I was waiting to see what transpired.

    Looking at some of the screen shots, this Martin Nettleton is a Director of a couple of Douvle Glazing firms in Barnsley.

    If this is the way Directors are talking to fans then I want no part of it. They're just creating a rift between fans.

    It's simple, either put up or shut up, but don't piss fans off. We're all as passionate about our football club as the next man

    I know I've chimed in on this a few times, but community ownership really doesn't work like that. Fan-owned doesn't mean fan-run. It just doesn't. I did a lot of work on community share offers and social enterprise, and it might be helpful to dispel some myths around how this works in practice.

    If you want to see how fan ownership works look at Hearts.

    If you own a share in Natwest you don’t have a seat at the boardroom and run the business. You do get a vote at the AGM.

    Bit late coming in on this but what I don't get is why a new group had to be set up, unless it's by people who want there two minutes in the spotlight and the big "I am". If this is real feeling, then the way has to be through the established and respected supporter groups, be it the Supporters Trust, courthouse reds etc who all would be taken far more seriously with what they have to say. If this group wanted to be taken seriously, surely it would be in their own interests to get people like loko and gally on board rather than alienating as they obviously have along with many others.

    That's interesting. Because the Martin Nettleton posting on Facebook only setup his Facebook account just before starting this group - no posting history and only 32 Facebook friends.

    I know that Martin and I very much doubt its the same person. I can not imagine he would speak to anybody like that, or get involved in a Facebook protest group

    Be worth asking him/mentioning it though. Everyone I've spoken to assumes he's fronting the Facebook group as they always mention double glazing.

    He said conway is aware he isnt liked and the best way for him to go would be to buy the group out.

    Im starting a group called poya out as im unhappy with the head coach, ive spoke to a football manager who is willing to come in, i cant give any details on him, we will start protests to get poya out, if you question me you will be blocked and are a club arse licker...m right group like been at school.
