    Absolutely 100%........my dad took me when I was 6 and I’ve been hooked ever since and that live affair won’t change either!!!

    Those who are saying no baffle......enjoy your Saturdays walking round Asda!!

    don't see much point in just staying away. The owners could attribute any number of reasons for that, economic reasons, being in league 1, ticket price too high. If there's a definite boycott they're in no doubt as to why folk aren't renewing or buying ST.

    Going to new places buying records. Reading books. Nice walks and a meal in summer. Occasional trip to Penistone Church. Lots of music festivals. Don’t think Asda will be involved.

    I’m completely undecided. I do like going because it’s a great chance to spend time with my dad and my mate, but that’s the only thing at the minute keeping me interested. I’ll probably take their lead to be honest.

    We have discussed binning off home games and just doing some good away trips.

    True Jimmy, I was referring to the post that said that we are expected to buy a season ticket when we might be relegated & do not know what division we are in, well all I have done is point out it was exactly the same last year when we might have ended up in the promised land . I do not disagree with the 101 reasons why people should stay away , my comment was just to point out balance to the debate .

    As things stand I will be renewing - not because I want to fund our owners get rich scheme but because I go with my Dad and have done so for over 50 years and we sit with a good group of people. Also I fear for the jobs of the regular staff
    I may change my mind especially if the club decide with only 5000 ST holders its good economics to close the West Stand again
    I have also the incentive that if I renew this yeat it will be my last at full price as long as they dont change their mind about honouring those who kept a ticket continually since the OAP price went up

    Interesting that we're increasingly starting to see this attack line from the better fan brigade, as if it's some kind of 'gotcha'.

    I doubt that anyone who has already stopped spending at Oakwell and/or are planning not to renew season tickets have any intention to stay away from Oakwell permanently. I'm sure they'll all agree that they intend "to be back" at the earliest opportunity, this being a time when there is confidence that any monies spent aren't going to be used by the current owners to pay further installments owed to the Cryne family, or for their own benefit in another way.

    Given that the CEO has this week confirmed that the ownership view these monies as being owed by the football club, and not them directly, he's essentially said that there's another £2.75m to come from the same source as the £750k, in additional to legal costs that he's confirmed are being paid by the club in their attempts to try to avoid paying this debt.

    If you're happy to fund them doing this, then that's your decision. Others feel very differently, but I doubt that any of them have the long-term intention of never coming back.

    If there is a boycott it should be done and backed via the supporters trust like blackpools was not a couple of people on the bbs or a private group on facebook.

    Obviously readig sheriffs post its grim reading and hardly makes you want to renew.

    Would be better if it was organised as such yes. If groups of fans want to band together though I guess they will. The trust are trying to get to the truth of the matter but I suspect that will not be forthcoming.
    It seems clear to me the "owners" are not wanting to use their own money to even pay for the purchase of the club just use the clubs funds to do so.
    I recall reading they did similar at Nice.
    I'm not willing to keep putting money in while we chase answers that will never come.

    They did the same at Nice, the only difference was that they saddled the club with debt at an exorbitant rate in order to withdraw their initial upfront purchase capital. The loan was linked to league position and if they fell below a certain level, the loan was due in full immediately.

    That was the catalyst for fan action and the former CEO and minority owner looking to get rid of them. It took 100m euros.

    It's a shame that its taken til now for sentiment to shift to the degree it has.

    I can understand them wanting answers and not just saying right everyone boycott. But there comes a point when enough is enough if you by a season ticket next season by all accounts its looking more like it will go towards supporting owners off the field rather than the players on it.
