    Why would you close this thread? Nobody has said anything disrespectful about Luke - in fact the only comments about him are positive ones. Any comments are about the campaign.

    There's been so much movement in that group it wouldn't surprise me if the real 'Martin Nettleton' was already in there and even an admin. Interesting that 'he' changed his Facebook profile yesterday to this.....

    Very strange, i still dont know why anyone would go through a 3rd party to acquire a football club unless they are trying to de value it 1st and get it at a cut price. But the owners seem to be doing a good job at de-valuing it without anyone elses help.

    If he's the lad I'm thinking about from the Tykes TV YouTube thingy then he always seems extremely passionate and genuine. Might be a bit sweary for the taste of some but doesn't offend me.

    He's been put in a crappy position here by the antics of some others from the group but that might be for the best as now someone genuine has stepped in.

    If he's in charge of the group I think the first thing he should do to give the campaign back any degree of credibility is to rename it. Aiming the venom at one person from the board is wrong.

    Doesn't seem that elaborate. The overwhelming impression I got from the account of the first telephone meeting that was posted on here was it was written by a school kid, in terms of language used, vocabulary and content.

    It basically said: so we've had this phone meeting, right, and like we hadn't met before, but now we have, and like we all got on and it's going to be great and that and like there's these business people who have loads of money and they're going to run the club but we can't say who they are but it's going to be brill and we'll have banners and placards so stay tuned.

    I think he's toned it down on Tykes TV a lot. I used to to watch it religiously for the sweary rants by him and Steve. Me and Laura used to laugh at them.

    I'm so confused now. I thought the 'real Martin Nettleton' had stood up and said he had nothing to do with it? It may not be slim, but this grows shadier by the day :eek:
