To some extent I agree, but you'd say Palmer & Styles would be our main 2 centre mids, but needed an experienced mentor. Did that happen, like **** it did. No problem having a puppy farm, but you need some daddies. We are ruining our talent & losing our supporters. Conway should pay attention.

£2million compo for Val going and a British manager could have been recruited for £1.2 million but even that's too expensive. Poya must have cost 2 bob and a blackie's egg.

Thats my point though - so I think we’re agreeing. Styles plus your Mowatt replacement gives him a far better chance of proving if he’s good enough to play there. Even Palmer plus your replacement. Benson plus your replacement. Gomes plus your replacement.

Just not two of them together.

The £1.2m was the salary. I’m not going to criticise the club for refusing to pay £25k a week for a head coach likely on a long contract.

If it didn’t work out we’d be absolutely screwed financially and on the pitch. At the moment we’re being told financially we’ll be ok.

£6 million for a relegation won't do a great deal for the finances.

Yeah. You can't drop two young players into central midfield if you are playing a two in there. If you played a 3, then yes. I'd have got an experienced holding player & then you could have rotated those 3. Whether it is religion, football, or music you need to be flexible. The PMG are just deluded.

Imagine £6 million for relegation and a head coach you don’t want on £1.2 million for another two years.

We'll never know as we have Poya whose win ratio ranks as probably the worse in modern BFC history.

Not a case of never knowing. It’s just a possible scenario that would put our football club at way more risk long term than what it is now.

It’s fair reason as to why you wouldn’t pay your Head Coach £1.2m a year.

I agree with you in part, I want these owners to go but the point I was making is you do care along with the others.

I care for the well-being of the club, and making sure we have a club in the future but results? First team? All that sorta thing? Completely lost interest and couldn’t care in the slightest.

The venom is slowly killing this club.

Be more than a 6 million gap to fill , lost fan revenue, both home n away .sponsorship s reduced , carpark revenue down ,merchandise reduced. Going to be some big decisions to be made , can see only east stand opening, to reduce costs

Can I just ask, why British? See people all the time on various social media saying we needed a British manager/headcoach. Why? Now I'd agree if you were to say experienced, but why do they have to be British? Plenty of foreign coachs have done well in this league. Stendal/Struber/Val all decent for us in recent years.

I'm going with the Q&A when we were advised that a British manager was available who wanted a package worth £1.2 million. It's fair to assume with a package like that we were looking at an experienced candidate. Stendal got us out of L1 but struggled in the Championship. Struber didn't exactly pull any trees up in the Championship. Wigan's points deduction was our lifeline. Of the three you mentioned only Val succeeded in the Championship. Morais, Schopp and Poya were woeful.
